Experienced Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to support dentists during a range of dental procedures, including general dentistry, with ortho and other specialty experience noted as a plus. Responsibilities include chairside assisting, preparing treatment rooms, processing and sterilizing instruments, taking and developing dental X-rays, operating equipment such as 3D scanners and X-ray machines, and maintaining inventory of supplies. The role requires managing patient records in an EMR system, scheduling appointments, updating medical histories, taking vital signs and medical documentation, and providing post-treatment instructions while adhering to HIPAA and infection prevention protocols. A Massachusetts Registered Dental Assistant license and Radiology Certification are required, along with proven experience in general or specialty dental practice and familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques.
