Seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to support clinicians in a busy, high-energy practice that uses a fully digital workflow and advanced dental technology. The role includes chairside assisting (four-handed dentistry), assisting with general dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics, taking and developing X-rays and using 3D scanners, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining aseptic technique and infection control. The assistant will also manage patient records in compliance with HIPAA, perform scheduling and receptionist duties when needed, educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
Candidates should be proficient with EMR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic, have knowledge of dental and medical terminology, understand infection control practices, be able to document medically and code procedures, and communicate effectively with patients and team members. Experience with pediatric patients is noted as a plus. The position is in-person, requires commuting to and relocating to Belmont, MA 02478 before starting, and offers a pay range of $30.00–$35.00 per hour with 401(k), health insurance, and paid time off.
