Associate Care Coordinator

Role Overview
The Associate Care Coordinator helps Minnesota Health Care Programs members access dental services by assisting with appointment scheduling, arranging transportation or interpreter services when applicable, and coordinating with dental offices. They make reminder calls, follow up after initial appointments to confirm attendance and need for further care, and support customer service based on call volume and forecasting.
The role requires clear verbal and written communication with members, dental professionals, and office staff, basic PC skills including Microsoft Office, and knowledge of Minnesota Government Programs, dental terminology, coding, and benefits. A high school diploma or equivalent plus related experience is required, with one year of handling Delta Dental of Minnesota phone inquiries; a college degree and prior experience with Minnesota Health Care Programs are preferred. No travel is required and the position may involve lifting up to 10 lbs. The role reports to the Government Programs Supervisor and interacts with members, dental offices, County Advocates, and Health Plans. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
