dental assistant ( one plus year experience required)

Private general dental practice seeking an energetic, reliable dental assistant to work chairside with the doctor and support patient comfort during procedures including fillings, root canals, extractions, implants, bone grafts, cosmetic work, and Invisalign. Clinical tasks include four-handed assisting, taking digital X-rays, CT scans and panorexes, managing sterilization and infection control, preparing treatment rooms, explaining post-op instructions, taking impressions and scanning for nightguards/crowns/Invisalign, with occasional light front-desk duties and flow assistance. Proficiency in treatment plan presentation is a bonus. A positive attitude, reliability, eagerness to learn, and teamwork are emphasized; the practice is willing to train skills. A valid New Jersey dental radiography (X-ray) license is preferred and Spanish language ability is a plus. Schedule can be full- or part-time with office hours Mon–Wed 10:00–18:00, Thu 12:00–20:00, and Saturday 08:00–14:00 (2–3 Saturdays per month). Pay range $18.00–$28.00 per hour and benefits include 401(k) with matching, paid time off, and employee discounts.
