Surgical Dental Assistant

Seeking an experienced oral surgery assistant to support surgical services with duties that include assisting the surgeon, preparing operatories, sterilizing instruments, taking X-rays, and entering dental information into the computer. Required credentials and certifications listed are CPR, registration or certification as a dental assistant, Maryland X‑ray/radiography certification, and anesthesia training/certification or background. Preferred qualifications include three or more years in oral and maxillofacial surgery, DAANCE certification, ability to start IVs or a phlebotomy license, and prior general sedation experience. Schedule is daytime: 8:00–4:00 Monday–Thursday and 8:00–2:00 Friday, with arrival typically 10–15 minutes before and after patient hours.
