Lead Dental Assistant

Seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to serve as Lead Dental Assistant, guiding the clinical team and partnering with doctors to support patient care. The role includes four-handed assisting for general and restorative procedures, preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, taking radiographs and intraoral images, fabricating temporaries and assisting with impressions as permitted by Arizona regulations, maintaining clinical documentation and electronic records, ensuring instrument sterilization and OSHA compliance, and delivering professional patient care. Leadership duties include coaching, mentoring, and onboarding dental assistants, serving as the primary clinical resource for the back office, monitoring workflows to improve efficiency and care, partnering with doctors and office leadership to implement best practices, overseeing inventory, supplies, and equipment, and upholding infection control and daily operational standards. Candidates should have a minimum of three years recent dental assisting experience in general dentistry, with prior lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred, and active Arizona dental assistant credentials and required certifications.
