Registered Dental Hygienist

This part-time, on-site Registered Dental Hygienist position involves performing dental hygiene procedures such as prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing, and supporting prevention and management of periodontal disease. Daily responsibilities include patient assessments, updating medical and dental histories, taking and reviewing radiographs, providing oral hygiene and preventive care education, maintaining infection control protocols, and accurate documentation in patient records. The hygienist will work closely with dentists and dental assistants to support a professional, welcoming patient environment and help maintain an efficient clinical schedule. Required qualifications include an active California RDH license, current CPR/BLS certification, knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards, clinical skills in hygiene and periodontal care, strong communication and patient-education abilities, attention to detail in charting, and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced dental team.
