Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar and perform patient assessments such as taking vital signs, reviewing medical histories, and evaluating oral health. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, assist dentists with chairside duties including four-handed dentistry when needed, operate digital X-rays and intraoral cameras, and maintain accurate records in EMR systems (e.g., Dentrix or Eaglesoft) in compliance with HIPAA.
Maintain infection control and sterilization protocols, support a clean and welcoming clinical environment, and contribute to building long-term patient relationships by spending meaningful time with each patient. The practice is a high-end, fee-for-service office that limits patient volume (maximum eight patients per day) and prioritizes quality over quantity.
