Certified Dental Assistant

This position is for a part-time, on-site Certified Dental Assistant in San Jose. Daily tasks include preparing treatment rooms, assisting the dentist during procedures, taking dental radiographs, maintaining patient records, sterilizing and organizing instruments, providing chairside support and patient instruction, and supporting clinical workflow and patient flow. The role also involves managing supplies, coordinating with front office staff, and contributing to a clean, safe, and compliant clinical environment. Required qualifications include current California Dental Assistant certification (for example CDA or RDA) and valid CPR/BLS certification, experience taking radiographs, familiarity with dental software and electronic health records, knowledge of dental care and infection control/sterilization protocols, and strong interpersonal, communication, teamwork, attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to patient confidentiality and professional ethics.
