Seeking an Associate Pediatric Dentist to provide dental care for children and adolescents, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning tailored to young patients. The role includes performing restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and placement of dental implants when necessary, using techniques such as four-handed dentistry and medical imaging tools.
Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments and medical history reviews, maintaining detailed records in electronic health record systems (Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix), following infection control and aseptic protocols, communicating treatment options and post-care instructions to patients and families, and collaborating with the dental team on cases involving orthodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Candidates must hold a valid license or certification to practice pediatric dentistry in the state and demonstrate proficiency with EHR systems, dental and medical terminology, and HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
