Dental Assistant - Full Time

Full-time position for an experienced Dental Assistant in a two-doctor private dental practice. The role involves assisting dentists during procedures, preparing treatment rooms and instruments, taking dental X-rays as permitted, assisting with infection control and sterilization, updating patient medical information, providing post-operative instructions, helping with patient flow and daily clinical operations, and other clinical and administrative duties as needed. The practice follows OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control protocols and expects effective communication with clinical and front-office team members. Qualifications include previous dental assisting experience preferred, experience in a private practice preferred, knowledge of dental terminology/procedures/instruments, strong understanding of infection control and sterilization, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, professionalism, dependability, attention to detail, multitasking ability, a positive team-oriented attitude, and current certifications/licenses required for the state. The position offers hourly pay based on experience, uniforms after 90 days, a 401(k) with up to 6% company match after 90 days, accrued PTO after 90 days, discounted dental services for the employee and immediate family, and a supportive, team-oriented work environment.
