Hygienist - FL South Orlando Monday and Friday

Provide licensed dental hygiene services including patient assessments of teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, creation of periodontal treatment plans based on a dentist’s diagnosis, and communication to the dentist of any suspected oral lesions. Deliver preventative and therapeutic care such as prophylaxis, full mouth debridement, scaling and root planing, placement of locally administered antibiotics, irrigation and desensitizing procedures, application of fluorides and sealants, and in-office whitening procedures. Position and expose dental radiographic film and sensors, recommend re-care intervals, and instruct patients on oral hygiene and home care products. Must hold a Florida dental hygiene license in good standing, have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene, and possess current BLS/CPR certification. Work occurs in clean, well-lit offices following radiological, infection-control, and personal protective equipment protocols; the role requires good visual acuity and manual dexterity and collaboration with the dental team.
