Dental Hygienist

Hiring bonus of $2,000 paid out over the year. Full-time dental hygienist position with pay listed as $43.00–$52.00 per hour; final pay dependent on experience and workload. Position duties include performing dental hygiene procedures (cleaning, scaling, polishing), taking and developing dental x-rays, conducting oral cancer screenings, providing oral hygiene education and personalized recommendations, administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed, assisting the dentist during exams, and maintaining a sterile environment. Documentation responsibilities include recording treatment plans and progress notes in electronic dental systems such as Dentrix Ascend. Qualifications list a valid Idaho dental hygiene license; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program; proficiency with electronic dental systems like Dentrix Ascend; knowledge of insurance billing procedures; and strong communication, interpersonal, and record-keeping skills. Training for Dentrix Ascend is available if needed.
