Full-time dental assistant position working 40 hours per week with a Monday–Friday schedule (hours may vary). The role provides chairside support for restorative, crown and bridge, extractions, root canals, and general dentistry procedures, prepares treatment rooms and instruments, takes and processes radiographs per Massachusetts regulations, sterilizes instruments following OSHA, CDC, and Massachusetts Department of Public Health guidelines, and assists with impressions, temporary crowns, digital scanning, and lab cases. The assistant also maintains patient records, monitors inventory and orders supplies, supports front office tasks as needed, educates patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care, and performs additional duties as assigned.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, current CPR/BLS certification, certification to expose dental radiographs in Massachusetts, and a current Massachusetts Dental Assistant License if required by state regulations. Preferred qualifications include experience with digital radiography and intraoral scanners, familiarity with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental or similar software, EFDA certification if applicable, and bilingual candidates are encouraged. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, bending, manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally, and wearing PPE for extended periods. Compensation is described as competitive pay based on experience.
