Registered Dental Hygienist

Small family-owned dental practice seeking a part-time dental hygienist. Current schedule is every Monday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential to add Tuesdays and Fridays in the near future. Responsibilities include patient comfort, initial mouth screenings, updating medical and oral health histories, identifying gingivitis/periodontitis per current periodontal classification, scaling (cavitron and/or hand), polishing, patient oral hygiene education, taking radiographs and intraoral photos or assisting the doctor with photos, performing wellness scans on new patients with iTero Lumina, maintaining documentation and charts, sterilizing instruments, and helping monitor supplies. Appointment lengths are 60 minutes for adult recalls and 90 minutes for new patients. Required qualifications are a dental hygiene diploma and active Minnesota licensure.
