Licensed Dental Assistant $35/hr + Benefits Package!

Licensed Dental Assistant needed for a full-time, non-exempt hourly professional position reporting to the Dental Operations Manager with supervision by the Lead LDA. Duties include preparing operatories and patients, sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, recording vitals and treatment information, exposing dental radiographs, assisting dentists, dental therapists, and hygienists with procedures (including sealants, fluoride applications, SDF, rubber dam application, root canal assistance, preliminary impressions, temporary crown cementation, and fabrication of temporary restorations), pouring models and preparing cases for the lab, and helping manage medical and dental emergencies. LDAs also assist with denture impressions and relines, apply bleaching agents, complete routine checklists, and maintain patient confidentiality. Required qualifications include certification or degree from an accredited Dental Assistant program and a Minnesota Dental Assistant license. Compensation includes a guaranteed hourly rate of $35 per hour plus an additional daily bonus.
