Dental Assistant Team Lead

School-based mobile dental practice seeks a full-time Dental Assistant/Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Team Lead to provide care to underserved children at schools in St. Louis, MO and surrounding areas. The role includes dental assisting during mobile clinics, digital x-ray imaging, patient charting, equipment setup/breakdown and sterilization assistance, daily travel to school sites, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Candidates must hold an x-ray license, be CPR certified, have dental assisting experience, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, and work well with children; coronal polishing is preferred but not required. Team Lead responsibilities include driving a company vehicle, being at least 21 years old, traveling daily, meeting deadlines and arriving on time, ordering supplies, performing sterilization tasks and spore testing, back office duties, keeping the van and equipment in good condition, and having computer skills (Microsoft Office) and strong people skills. The position follows a school-day schedule (about 6–7 hours, on average between 8:00 A.M.–3:00 P.M.), offers evenings, weekends and summers off, state-of-the-art portable equipment with digital radiography, a benefits package (health, dental, vision), and both full- and part-time positions.
