Dental Hygienist

Part-time, on-site dental hygienist position in Nutley, NJ providing preventive care including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and patient education on oral hygiene. Responsibilities include reviewing medical and dental histories, performing periodontal assessments, taking and interpreting radiographs as needed, assisting with treatment planning for periodontal disease and implant-related care, maintaining clinical records, and following infection control and safety protocols. Requires a current New Jersey dental hygienist license and CPR/BLS certification. The role involves collaboration with periodontists and other dental professionals in a practice focused on periodontal disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and implant placement and maintenance. Experience in periodontal or specialty practices is preferred, and familiarity with practice management and charting software is beneficial.
