Preventive Care Dental Hygienist

Part-time Preventive Care Dental Hygienist position available with a fee-for-service practice. Schedule is every other Tuesday from 8:30 am–2:30 pm with potential for additional hours. The role treats about 5 patients per day for personalized attention; another section states approximately seven patients per day. Hourly wage range is $60–$70 per hour based on experience. Practice emphasizes minimally invasive, preventive care and uses advanced techniques such as laser disinfection for periodontal health. Hygienist responsibilities include comprehensive cleanings, periodontal assessments, patient education on preventive strategies, radiography, documentation, and adherence to infection control, HIPAA, and OSHA protocols. Required qualifications are a current New York RDH license and CPR/BLS certification.
