Hygienist

Seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to deliver preventive and periodontal care within a collaborative, patient-focused practice. The role includes comprehensive hygiene assessments and periodontal charting, prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, exposure and evaluation of digital radiographs, administration of local anesthesia where permitted by law, patient education, and maintenance of accurate clinical records in the practice management/EHR system. The hygienist will collaborate with general dentists and specialists on treatment planning and coordinated care, adhere to infection control, sterilization, OSHA, and radiology safety protocols, and participate in continuing education, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives. The position requires use of ultrasonic scalers and hygiene instruments and proficiency with digital radiography and EHR/practice management software.
