Registered Dental Hygienist

This full-time, on-site Registered Dental Hygienist position involves providing preventive dental services such as prophylaxis, periodontal assessments, and non-surgical periodontal therapy. Daily duties include patient screenings, taking and reviewing radiographs, delivering individualized oral hygiene instruction, accurately documenting findings, and supporting infection control and sterilization protocols. The hygienist will collaborate with dentists and orthodontists on treatment planning, reinforce home care recommendations, assist with patient flow, and support practice initiatives to enhance care and satisfaction. Qualifications required include an active New York RDH license and current CPR/BLS certification, knowledge of dentistry and dental prophylaxis, periodontal disease management and maintenance, clear empathetic communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting. Prior pediatric or orthodontic experience is preferred but not required.
