Full-time position for an Orthodontic Assistant / Dental Assistant in a busy orthodontic practice. The role involves chairside assisting for orthodontic procedures, placing, adjusting and removing braces, brackets, and bands as directed, taking X-rays, scans, impressions and progress photos, preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments, educating patients and parents on oral hygiene and braces aftercare, maintaining patient records in EMR, and coordinating with clinical and front office teams with cross-training as needed.
The practice offers pay in the range of $20–$25/hour and lists health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, company-paid short- and long-term disability, and a 401(k) with up to 4% company match. Preferred qualifications include 1–2 years of dental or orthodontic assisting experience and RDA or CDA certification; applicants should be compassionate, reliable, team-oriented, able to stand, walk, bend and reach during the day, have manual dexterity, and be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
