Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join an established private dental practice. The role involves performing EFDA duties allowed by Pennsylvania law, placing and finishing restorative materials, assisting doctors during procedures, taking diagnostic radiographs as permitted, maintaining clinical documentation and infection control, preparing operatories and instruments, monitoring supplies, and providing pre- and post-operative instructions. Collaboration with doctors, hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff is emphasized to support efficient patient flow and a positive clinical environment. Required credentials include an active Pennsylvania EFDA credential, dental radiology certification as required by Pennsylvania, and current CPR/BLS certification.
