Registered Dental Hygienist at Blunn Creek Family Dentistry Austin, TX

Seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to work Monday through Wednesday, 8:00am–3:00pm (2–3 days per week). The practice operates with five plumbed operatories, is fully computerized using Open Dental, and has digital x‑ray and a pano machine. Clinical responsibilities include performing dental prophylaxis, oral cancer screenings, radiographic exposures and development, charting decay and disease, applying topical fluorides and other caries‑preventive agents, fabricating temporary restorations, sharpening/sterilizing instruments, and maintaining equipment per manufacturer guidance. The role also involves patient education on oral hygiene and postoperative care, documenting vital signs and histories, taking intraoral photos, following infection‑control and safety protocols, and assisting in emergency preparedness (CPR certification, emergency drugs/oxygen, emergency contacts).
