Dental Hygienist FT

Seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to provide hygiene care including scaling, root planing, selective polishing, prophylaxis, radiographs, application of fluorides and sealants, and counseling patients on oral hygiene and nutrition. Responsibilities include reviewing patient charts and health histories, coordinating daily hygiene schedules, maintaining treatment room cleanliness and sterilization per OSHA, keeping hygiene supply inventory, accurately recording treatments, and teaching proper oral hygiene techniques. Candidates must hold state licensure and have completed at least two years of post-secondary education in an accredited dental hygiene program. Experience with periodontics-related dental assisting, prophylaxis, and taking X-rays is required. Strong interpersonal, computer, and communication skills are needed; Open Dental knowledge is a plus. Compensation range is $48.00–$55.00 hourly.
