Hygiene Assistant

Seeking a Hygiene Assistant to support clinical operations by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing and organizing instruments, and maintaining infection prevention standards. The role includes assisting the dental hygienist with treatment setup, room turnover, seating patients, patient education, taking and developing dental x-rays using digital systems, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with dental imaging procedures as needed. Responsibilities also cover managing patient records and documentation within Electronic Dental Record systems with HIPAA compliance, scheduling appointments, and maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment. Required skills listed include proficiency with practice management software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar), knowledge of dental terminology and general dentistry procedures, experience with sterilization and infection control, ability to operate X-ray machines and other dental equipment, and strong communication skills for patients of all ages. The position is paid at $18.00–$22.00 per hour and is in person.
