Part-Time Dental Hygienist

Privately owned dental office seeks a licensed dental hygienist to work Mondays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a lunch break from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Schedule may expand to additional days at the same pay rate; appointment length is flexible and can be set to one hour or longer. Pay is $70.00 to $75.00 per hour. Responsibilities include dental cleanings, preventive care, periodontal treatments, taking x-rays, performing screenings, patient education, accurate charting, infection control, and collaborating with the dentist on treatment planning. Qualifications include an active Washington State dental hygiene license, comfort with dental x-rays and blood pressure checks, strong communication, documentation, and infection control practices.
