Role Overview

Established, locally owned dental practice seeks an experienced Dental Assistant to support dentists and the clinical team in delivering patient care. The role involves taking dental radiographs, chairside assistance during procedures, prepping and maintaining treatment rooms and instruments, updating medical histories, obtaining blood pressures, taking impressions, performing lab procedures, scheduling and coordinating referrals, and helping keep the clinical environment clean and organized. Position is full-time, 36 hours per week on a predictable four-day schedule (7:00 AM–5:00 PM). Qualifications include a minimum of one year of dental assisting experience (two+ years preferred), a current Maine Radiology License, current CPR certification, strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask and work on feet most of the day, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Certified Dental Assistant credential and experience with Eaglesoft are listed as pluses. A comprehensive benefits package is offered, and hourly pay is $22.00–$28.75 based on experience and qualifications.
