Job Description We are seeking a front desk receptionist. This is an entry level position, but previous dental experience is preferred. We are looking for passionate individuals who want to contribute to the growth and success of our practice. Dr. Sam, founder of Georgetown Sedation Dentistry, has built a state-of-the-art dental facility designed to deliver quality care paired with a luxury experience. Our sedation-certified facility is equipped with the latest technology, including but not limited to intraoral scanners, lasers, CBCT, 3D printers, milling units, and more! We provide all dentistry services under one roof to maximize patient comfort, offering everything from preventive treatments and simple restorations to complex oral surgery procedures, endodontics, implants, full-mouth rehabilitations (including All-on-X), and stunning smile makeovers. Health insurance after 12 months of employment Qualifications: One year of experience in dental office is preferred. At least one year of front desk experience is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills and confidence in answering phones and scheduling are required. Must be comfortable texting patients and responding to emails using proper grammar and clear communication. Experience with Open Dental software is preferred. Essential Functions: (PLEASE READ) Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming environment Answer phone calls, take messages, and return voicemails promptly Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Verify insurance eligibility and input patient data accurately Collect co-pays, process payments, and manage billing inquiries Maintain organized patient records and file paperwork as needed Handle check-in/check-out processes efficiently Maintain impeccable organizational skills for accurate record-keeping. Expertise in insurance, billing, payments, and scheduling. (Training will be provided) Flexibility and willingness to accommodate patients' needs. Consistently uphold high standards of cleanliness, timeliness, and customer service.
