Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Associate General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history review, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using advanced tools such as digital X-rays and medical imaging techniques
Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences while explaining procedures clearly using appropriate dental terminology
Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental office standards
Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures
Utilize practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, charting, billing, and medical records management
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice dentistry as an Associate General Dentist
Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and clinical procedures
Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics (dental fabrication), oral surgery (dental extractions), and infection control practices
Familiarity with digital dental technologies including Epic electronic health records system or similar platforms like Eaglesoft or Dentrix
Ability to perform pediatric dentistry procedures with sensitivity towards young patients’ needs
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient conditions accurately and communicate effectively
Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental procedures and the ability to interpret medical imaging accurately
Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with a focus on quality care and safety standards
